Cracked Stone Bricks are blocks that were implemented in the Beta1.8update, and added to the official game client as part of the Adventure Update.

Overview[]

Cracked stone bricks have an appearance that is similar to Stone Bricks, but with cracks throughout their surface. However, this does not affect the block-breaking speed. These blocks have no specific use in-game, other than acting as a decorative construction block.

Cracked stone bricks are one of the blocks which Block 97 can resemble (the block which Silverfish can spawn from and return to).

How to make mossy stone bricks

They can also be created by smelting stone bricks in a Furnace.
